Help Send Care Packages to Our Troops with HBO

I really don't get the chance to watch much television, unless it's news or something for pre-schoolers.  So I had no idea that HBO had done a mini-series called "Generation Kill".  It was a documentary following a Marine Battalion during the first forty days of the Iraq war.care package

In honor of that documentary and all of the troops who have served and those who are currently protecting our country in foreign lands, HBO is sending over care packages to as many of them as possible.  The cool thing is that we get to pick what goes in them -- and HBO is picking up the tab

It's really simple.  All you have to do is go to HBO's website and click on "Troop Drive".  Then you click on Donate Now and enter all of your information.  The last box is a drop-down list of all the items you get to choose from.  There are some really great items listed, like bandages, magazines, heat patches, hand sanitizer and even a pre-paid phone card

HBO is allowing one item to be donated per email address, so if you have more than one, then please donate as much as you can.  Every click counts!
